ETERNAL DIRGE “Khaos Magick” CD

Geman Death metal band Eternal Dirge was formed in 1986

Their second album from 1996 “Khaos Magick”.There were no concessions to the more popular metallic sounds of that time; groove metal, melodic death metal, black metal. Eternal Dirge were a genuine band with their own sound. They made music that reflected their interests and Lovecraftian worldview. Khaos Magick is the most dark yet atmospherically album from their catalogue. Somewhere comparable to early Septic Flesh or Rotting Christ & Necromantia with the dark keyboard sounds and repetitive riffs or even Nocturnus. And of course the heavily rooted German Death and thrash metal influences.
